Tips on Mixing & Matching: 6 Core Pieces Worn 8 Ways!

Do you ever buy something and wonder how many ways you can wear it? I did this post to show you some simple tricks of how to mix and match and get the most bang for your buck! If you owned all 6 core pieces of this outfit, here are 8 ways that you can wear it and make that many outfits. We photographed it 3 ways, so here are 5 additional ways to make different looks:

1) Casual: White tee, denim, velvet sneakers

2) Casual: Sweatshirt, joggers, velvet sneakers

3) Dressed Up: Sweatshirt, denim, booties

4) Polished Casual: Denim jacket, white tee, denim jeans, velvet sneakers or booties

Those are only a few! A denim jacket goes such a long way and can basically be worn throughout the year. I wear it over dresses, with skirts, and with any colored denim. It’s a year round staple for me! A good white tee will also go a long way. You can wear this one as dressed up or as casual as you want. I can’t even tell you how comfy these joggers are. I could seriously wear them every day! One of my favorite ways to dress up a jogger is to wear it with a cold shoulder top. Just wear black on black and pair it with a loafer slide or the peep toe bootie that I have on here and it’s such a cool street style look!

Fit Tips: The tee, joggers, denim jacket, and both shoes all run TTS. If you’re in between sizes, I would recommend sizing up in the denim jacket. The sweatshirt runs big, I would size down in it. The Topshop jeans run small, I would size up 2 sizes in it.
