Now that the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is open to the public and EVERYONE can shop, I want to share with you some of the seasons hottest trends and some key pieces that you should buy now on sale, wear now, and transition into fall.
- Stock up on ANKLE BOOTIES! These are the perfect item to buy now and wear now. We’re not seeing as many over the knee boots this year, but they are still in style, especially for all the colder climate gals. These are my top 5 booties:
The BP Faren is only $69.90 and so comfy! These run small, so size up 1/2 size.
This Vince Camuto is under $100, and also super comfy! I love the side detail. Runs large, size down 1/2 size.
Rag & Bone: a classic year after year and looks great with dresses, shorts, jeans! Typically runs small, size up 1/2 size.

Here is an example of a top and booties that you can buy now on sale, wear now, and take into fall! The top is meant to be slouchy and runs TTS. I’m obsessed with this olive green color; it also comes in 2 other colors.
2) OVER-SIZED OPEN CARDIGANS! Wear these with a lace, silky cami and denim, or over a dress. These cardis are the perfect layering piece for transitioning into fall! Many of them run large, so I would suggest sizing down.

3) The HOTTEST DENIM! Keep an eye out for high waisted, cleaner denim with frayed/asymmetrical hemlines at the bottom. Wear your denim at the ankle or shorter this fall!

5) SLIDES & MULES! If you don’t already own a pair, you must incorporate these into your wardrobe. My favorite pair are these leopard ones featured below! Fit Tips on this look: The jacket runs TTS, but I sized up in the denim. I am normally a 24, and took a 25 in these. The bag is not on sale, but is definitely my most FAV recent purchase!

6) Anything METALLIC! You can incorporate these simple pops into your current wardrobe. The key is not to over do it. Pick one metallic piece like a shoe, bag or jacket to update your look this season!
