The New Bootie Trend!

I wore this outfit when Laura Beverlin and I were interviewed by FOX News on Tuesday. I have to say that we had SO much fun and it was truly an honor! One of my dear friends, who I happened to meet at Nordstrom, Kelly Ring, has wanted to a story on fashion blogging for the last several months. She is a long time FOX News Anchor and one of the sweetest people I know. Laura and I met in Hyde Park and did some photos, and then were individually interviewed. We were definitely nervous! All went well, and I can’t wait to show you the end result. She said it will probably air in the next few weeks!

So, back to fashion! I saw this leather skirt in Topshop last week and scooped it up right away! It’s honestly not a bad price for a leather skirt, and with all the studs and details, I knew it would be a great piece to have. Once we get some cooler weather, it’s short enough to wear with over the knee boots. Yay!

Lastly, anyone notice all these booties that are coming up higher and tighter on the ankle? I’m a huge fan! They’re so flattering on the leg and you can wear them with skirts, cropped jeans, flare jeans and dresses! These will be on major repeat and I will style them sooo many different ways coming soon!!

Fit Tips: The top runs small and is cropped just FYI. I sized up 2 sizes to make room for the bust. The skirt runs TTS according to the sizing on the website. I’m wearing a Topshop 4, which is equivalent to a 0-2. The Steve Madden booties also run TTS.
