Summer Neutrals + How To Accessorize With a Brooch

Neutrals have become one of my favorite color combos to wear.  I live in white jeans in the summer time and love pairing them back to any neutral top.  Wearing an all white look is also one of my all time favorites!  I wanted to show this look two ways: how to wear it with the vest and how it would look more casually without the vest.  The vest with the brooch and heels makes it more polished or you could lose the vest and put on a pair of flat sandals for a more daytime casual look.  I am actually wearing it to work today with my low heel nude Valentino’s since I am on my feet all day.

I decided to put the brooch on my vest because I wanted another accessory, but knew a necklace wouldn’t be the best with the neckline being as high as it is.  Brooches are such a fun accessory for a vest, on the lapel of a jacket or to even put on a strand of pearls to jazz them up!   I hope you enjoy and Happy Almost Friday!  xoxo, Christian

Fit Tips: The top runs very small!  If you want to wear it fitted, size up one size.  If you want a sightly loose look, I would size up 2 sizes.  I sized up one size in the jeans, mainly because they are white and I didn’t want them painted on haha!  The shoes run true to size in both the Valentino’s and in the Steve Madden’s, although if you’re wider in the toe box, I would suggest sizing up a half a size.
