1) Better Than Sex Mascara: AKA the best mascara ever! I use this on my top lashes only, but it’s hands down the best! It gives me volume and fullness without clumping.
2) Beauty Blender: I use this to apply my under eye concealer and then go over my foundation. Be sure to wet it first and then squeeze out all excess water.
3) Nars Concealer: I love this concealer because it is full coverage without caking and settling into fine lines.
4) Josie Maran Foundation: This makes my skin vibrant and glowing. I’m wearing the color Awakened RG45
5) Sigma F80 Kabuki Brush: I use this to apply my foundation and cannot live without it! It looks natural and doesn’t cake on your makeup.
6) Anastasia Beverly Hills Duo Brow Powder: I use this and apply it with this Anastasia Brush to fill in and shape my brows. This tools is precise and lasts forever!
7) Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit: I use the color banana for setting my eye concealer and use the browns at the bottom for my brows and for eyeshadows!
8) Nars Ita Brush: It makes contouring so easy!
9) Nars Bronzer: I love this one for the summer because it gives me the perfect sun kissed look. I wear the color Laguna
10) MAC Springsheen Blush: This color looks great on so many skin types and goes with pinks or corals. I wear it almost every day during the summer!
11) Kiehl’s Creme de Corps: I have dry skin and nothing ever moisturized my skin the way this does without feeling greasy. The bottle says that you will notice softer skin within 10 days and it’s true!
12) MAC Lipglass: The color ‘Angel’ is my go to for a soft pink. I use it over lipstick for added color, or alone for a softer look.
13) La Mer ‘The Perfecting Treatment’: I put this on as my “last layer” of skincare and use it as a primer for my foundation. It leaves my skin silky and reduces redness. I love it on days when (which are seldom) when I can go makeup free!
14) La Mer Eye Concentrate: I have used this eye cream off and on for the last 10 years, and no matter what I try, I always go back to it. It gets rid of my dark circles and brightens like no other!
15) Mason Martin Margiela ‘Replica-Beach Walk’: I am sensitive to fragrances and this one doesn’t bother me at all. Here is how it is described and I’d say it’s dead on! “Rays of light, sun heat, sand on the skin, a taste of salt and sunscreen, at the end of the day. A stroll along the ocean. Feet sink into the sand. Waves brush the skin. The sun at its zenith radiates the beach. Beach Walk evokes the memory of a summer day.” Kind of a funny description but true ha!

I know many of you have shopped the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale before, but in case you haven’t experienced the best sale of the sale of the year, here are a few tips, tricks and questions answered on how to best prepare!
Q) What is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
A) It’s the best sale of the year!
Q) Why?
A) Because you get pre-fall merchandise at majorly discounted prices before the season starts! It’s all of our buyers top picks for the season and is brand new product.
Q) When does it start?
A) The pre-sale begins Wednesday July 13 for Level 4 Cardholders, and opens up to all cardholders July 14th. It then opens up to the public July 22nd and ends August 8th.
Q) How do I get to go to the Pre Sale?
A) You have to open a Nordstrom card and can do so here.
Q) Should I just wait until the 22nd?
A) No way! I don’t recommend it at all. Most of the good stuff sells out within the first couple days.
Q) How should I prepare for the sale?
A) I would recommend taking closet inventory in the days leading up to your shopping trip. Go through your fall bags, shoes, sweaters, jackets, bras, spanx (yes we all wear them), hanky pankys, etc. See what needs to be donated, dry cleaned, or just tossed out and make your list. Do you need a new brown bag for the season? Do you need to replace black booties this year? Do you want to finally splurge on the Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots? Do you need new white, black and tan camps? I love getting bras, and hanky pankys on the sale because let’s face it, I really hate buying stuff like that and it adds up fast at regular price! The #NSALE is the best time to stock up on daily essentials like that. Also, look at your skincare routine and see what you need to replenish. We have AH MAY ZING deals on beauty products.
Q) I want a Personal Stylist to help me, but am super busy and don’t really have time to come in.
