I have to say that I had so much fun wearing this outfit and channeling my “girly” side on this gorgeous day. Of course, it wouldn’t be a christianblair look if I didn’t add a bit of edge to it. I can’t be all girly, now can I?! Actually, sometimes I am, but I’ll save that for another day.
For this look, I wanted to show how you can mix patterns and do it right. If you pay close attention, you can see that the pattern in the top mimics the pattern in the skirt. I’m not saying this is totally necessary, but I happen to like it. Fashion Tip: You want to have a common color in your different patterned pieces. Notice the teal in the top plays off of the teal in the skirt. Another detail is that I tied in black shoes and a few accessories because of the black neckline on the top. To top it off, I loved the burgundy fringe bag with gunmetal hardware to add some edginess! P.S. Please disregard any OCD’ness with this fashion tip…I know I’m insanely picky, but I’m just trying to be thorough for y’all, okay? I hope you enjoy this look and have a wonderful week!
