Merry and Bright!

Continuing on with my “Festive Friday” posts, I wanted to feature a look you can do for basically any holiday party. Rompers are so in style right now, and I think so easy to wear. I mean, one piece and you’re done! I love how the pant legs are nice and tapered on this one so you can basically wear any shoe you want and show it off. Especially if you’re petite, a slim or straight pant leg is usually more flattering. It all depends on your body type though.

I chose the red pumps to go with the romper because A) pointed toe shoes elongate the legs, and B) I wanted this look to be festive but not over the top. The red shoe is just a touch without going overboard. Gold jewelry was a must with this outfit because I personally think gold looks better than silver with winter white. Just a personal preference, and I would occasionally do silver, but tend to stick with gold because I like the warmth it adds.

If it happens to be chilly out, you can wear a pashmina over your shoulders like this one. You could wear a cream one, but I chose a tan/camel color (featured in the link). I would wear this outfit over to someone’s home for a holiday party, a Christmas Eve dinner, girls night out, or date night!
