Okay, I have to admit the boho look isn’t the easiest look for me to pull off. I’ve gotten into it a little more this year, but I have to glam it up for it to work on me!
It’s definitely fun to play with trends and see what styles you like and what works for you. As my style has evolved over time, I’ve noticed that I have a more definite opinion of what works for me and what doesn’t. However, the fun part about fashion is trying something new and getting out of your box, which I know can be so hard!
One of my new looks that I’ve been playing with this season is introducing shades of brown back into my wardrobe. I’m obsessed with this Blank NYC jacket! Most of their jackets are faux leather, but this one is genuine leather and only $188! That is an amazing price for a leather jacket. It honestly looks wayyy nicer than what it costs! Jackets are such great layering pieces and really take your look up a notch. Having that third piece pulls it all together, and besides even if it’s warm out, it’s always so cold indoors. I’ve always been a big believer in jackets and the versatility they give your wardrobe. This one was perfect with this Alice + Olivia top because I wanted to break up the pattern a bit, and it was just the right touch.
