Fur and Fringe

I would have to say the most requested post idea I get is showing how to wear an outfit several different ways. While this one is a simple change of shoes and accessories, it shows two different ways to wear a look. One way has more of a boho vibe with the fur vest, fringe bag, and floppy brim fedora, whereas the other way is more on the modern glam side.

If you are someone who has the “more is more” motto, then go for the look with the fur vest and fringe bag. If you want more of a sophisticated and polished look, try out the other way. Both are modern and on trend, so you can’t go wrong! Even if you wanted to wear both for different events, go for it.

I also wanted to show you an example of when to cuff your jeans and where a hemline should hit. Girls, hems are going shorter on pants! Gone are the days of a bunch of scrunch at the bottom of your pants. It’s honestly more flattering to have a cleaner, more tailored look, especially on skinny jeans and ankle pants. Notice the length of my jeans when they are straight: they don’t bunch, and they skim the top of the boot. A little bunching sometimes is unavoidable, but you shouldn’t have too much. These AG jeans are the perfect length!

Another trend that’s back in a big way are shoes that have ankle straps. Your jeans should hit just above the ankle strap of the shoe. Cuffing can be tricky though. It’s not always appropriate to cuff your jeans. Sometimes, it’s a better to turn them under if they’re a little too long for a cleaner look. That’s a quick fix and nobody will notice!
