How did you and Dan meet?
We met at a Luke Bryan concert through a mutual friend. I was so tired from work that day and almost didn’t go. Something nudged me to go, so I ended up getting the energy and ran out the door. I was late to the concert, but met up with my friends anyway, not really noticing who all was there. Dan and I met at the end of the concert, walking out together and talking for maybe 10 minutes and had out first date two weeks later. The rest is history.
How did Sisi get her name?

How did you start your blog?
I was talking with my friend Jaclyn Hill as I was helping her organize her closet in the summer of 2015. At the time, I was working as a personal stylist at Nordstrom and always got asked questions about my daily outfits. As we were going through her closet, Jaclyn told me I should start a fashion blog. I thought about it and at first didn’t think I could do it because I was already so busy with my full time job at Nordstrom. I finally decided to go for it in the fall of 2015 and started to create blog posts. My goal was to show women how to style outfits and be able to wear them different ways. I also wanted to give women of any age style inspiration and show them how to pull together a specific look from head to toe. Shortly after I started my blog, I began sharing my daily outfits on Instagram.

What advice do you have for someone trying to get into blogging?
You can do anything you set your mind to! Hard work, dedication and persistence does pay off. I worked at Nordstrom for 17 years and built a $1.6 million business there. The last 5 years of my career at Nordstrom was simultaneously spent blogging full time. I had little to no days off each week. Every waking second I wasn’t at Nordstrom was spent creating content for my blog and managing that business. It was A LOT. I’ll never forget during the Anniversary Sale, I went to bed at midnight and would wake up at 4am just to
work on my blog before going into the store for a 12 hour day. It was crazy 😜 but in the end, I did it! One of my favorite sayings is this:
Nothing in life worth having comes easy Anything is possible!
