Details, Details

I couldn’t leave New York City without doing an all black outfit.  It just wouldn’t be right!  There is something about wearing all black and feeling super fierce.  It’s an easy look to do, and I like to mix textures and patterns when I do this to keep it interesting.  That way, it’s not just a plain black outfit.  I loved the top because of the cutouts, and I’ve been trying to find it online for you guys, but it’s obviously sold out…boo!  It was such a great price, and I actually tried on a VERY similar one at Maje in Miami, but I actually liked the Zara one better and it was about $200 cheaper.  Gotta love that!

I put the Balenciaga booties with the outfit because I loved the silver hardware on them and how it coordinated with the silver buckles on the skirt.  Sometimes the smallest details really can pull the whole look together.  I also LOVE this red Saint Laurent handbag for a couple of reasons: 1) It’s so tiny and cute! 2) The size is perfect for day if you’re running around or night if you just need to carry a few things.  3) The long shoulder strap makes it versatile to wear at least three different ways.  4) The red leopard is super chic and you don’t see red leopard often, so I love the fact that it’s different.  I always try to look for handbags that are unique because not only can they be fun conversation pieces, they can also take your outfit to the next level.  Wearing such a simple outfit on this day really made the handbag stand out, especially in such a crowded place!  I hope you have fun with adding in the details of accessories to your outfits!
