We went out to Ybor last Monday to explore around and take some pictures with Jaclyn, Rachel, and her husband John. Any of y’all that have seen my Instagram know that we had the most fun day! I seriously did.not.stop.laughing. It was awesome to be with them and learn a ton, and so incredibly generous of them to help us out!
I actually wore this skirt to work a few weeks ago with a chambray button down shirt tied in a knot for a more casual look. I kept everything the same, but changed the shirt. I think you could even pair the skirt back to a simple black tank and flat sandals and call it a day.
I have to give major props to Valentino for making a wedge or shoe in general that is an awesome heel height! Seriously though!! I worked in these and ran around all day, and my feet didn’t hurt at all. I love a higher heel for going out to dinner, but this one is perfection for everyday! What can I say, I’m a sucker for Valentino shoes. Since this outfit is all designer, I decided to go with fun, reasonable accessories. I know I will wear this necklace a ton, and for $28, it’s perfect!
Fit Tips: Alice + Olivia runs small in general. I sized up in the top (got a small instead of XS). I debated on the skirt size for a bit, but then decided to get my true size because I wanted it to sit a little higher up, which is the way it’s supposed to fit. I also got my true size in the shoes. Rag & Bone hats come in sizes, just fyi, and they tend to run a little small. The sizes are small, medium, and large. I also linked some “looks for less” options for you!
