Right when I tried on these Céline sunglasses, I knew they had to be mine! I bought a smaller, slightly different version last summer, so when these came out, I was immediately obsessed. A) they go with everything because they’re black on top and fade into tortoise. Genius. And B) Céline is just on fire. I absolutely love what Phoebe Philo has done with the company and admire her so much.
Enough with my Céline obsession. Moving on. I wanted to take this sweater, which is soooo soft and cozy, and show you something different than what would be expected to pair it with. Black skinnies or leather leggings would also look super cute instead of the skirt! I thought the skirt is fun though and I love the color! I also wanted to show you that you don’t have to be tall to wear skirts this length. I think the key for me (being petite) is wearing a fitted skirt in this length and pairing back to a nude pump.
The ankle straps work with this because they’re nude and don’t cut my legs off. I have to say that I LOVE ankle straps, but try to stick to shorter hem lengths when wearing anything other than nude shoes with ankle straps. The pointed toe also helps elongate your legs, so major plus there! These Vince Camuto shoes are the perfect heel height for working in all day or being somewhere that you’ll be standing for a while. They’re so comfy that I bought them in black too!
Stay on the lookout for a trend this spring showing LOTS of colors. I mean, a rainbow explosion! Just make sure when exploring this trend that all of your colors go together. This works because it’s all neutrals and primary colors, which all compliment each other.
Thank you so much for reading and have a fantastic weekend!

Christian
