70’s Inspired

If you’ve read any of my earlier posts, you know I’ve talked about incorporating “conversation pieces” into your wardrobe.  I saw this handbag and immediately wanted to build an outfit around it!  The colors and the geometric design make this bag original and unique.  And I love the fact that the colors are neutral enough that you really could wear it with a lot…except other patterns.  I would stick to solid colors in your outfit with this one!

Since it has a 70’s vibe to it (I just found out when I was adding the link that it’s actually called the 1975 camera bag) , I wanted to put together a look that stuck with inspo from that era, but that was still modern.  The classic silhouette of the dress combined with the suede fabric gives it a bit of a 70’s feel, and the wedges paired with an aviator style shade really pulls it all together.

I have to say the wedges are decently comfortable for being as high as they are.  Basically, I’m just going to be real and tell you that you’ll never see me in shoes that are just god awful uncomfortable.  I have feet issues and am on my feet 24/7 pretty much, so when I’m in heels, they have to be tolerable.  There is just no other option for me.  Period.   These are definitely lightweight and comfortable to walk around in, and I would say Jimmy Choo makes the most comfortable designer shoe.  The color is also gorgeous for spring!  It’s simple and neutral enough to wear with jeans, both skinny and flare styles, or pair back to a skirt or dress.  Your options are endless!

Thank you so much for reading!
